SHG Workshop Diva

Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai organized an Entrepreneurship Development Programme for Women at Diva, Dist. Thane. Around 40 Women participated in the programme. Information pertaining to various aspects of Entrepreneurship, Govt. Schemes etc was provided to the participants. Demonstration of various simple chemical products was also made in the Programme.

Shri Samir Manchekar, Regional Coordinator coordinated the event. Swayamsiddha Foundation was represented by Shri Vijay Joshi, Mrs.Surekha Naik, Mrs.Mansi Joshi etc.

Paper Bag Making Training

A Training Programme on Paper Bag Making was organised for Final Year NSS(National Service Scheme) Students of Ghanshamdas Jalan College, Malad, Mumbai. The Faculty Support was provided by Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai.

Mrs.Surekha Naik Trainer of Swayamsiddha Foundation conducted the Training. Dr.Vishakha Shingala, Programme Office, NSS & Asstt.Professor coordinated the Programme.

It is noteworthy that the students will make Paper Bags and distribute it among the local shopkeepers in their locality in a bid to create awareness about ill effects of plastic on our environment. We wish all the Best to their noble effort.

SHG Workshop at Bhayandar

Bhayandar Workshop

Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai, was invited for an SHG Workshop organised for members of SHGs registered with Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation. The workshop was organised on 23rd Sept. 2016 at Babasaheb Ambedkar Bhavan (Nagar Bhavan), Bhayandar.

Around 200 women from BPL SHGs participated in the workshop. Guidance was provided on how to convert an SHG into a Business Enterprise. The function was graced by Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Commissioner & Deputy Commissioner of Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation.

Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai participated in One Day Entrepreneurship Training Programme organised by Konkan Vikas Pratisthan at Dadar today on 24.07.2016. The team of Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai guided the participants on topics like Project Report Preparation, Managing a business etc. Shri Rajendra Tawade & Shri Rajan Keluskar & Team of Konkan Vikas Pratisthan coordinated the event.

A Workshop on Self Employemtnt was organised at Dadar on Saturday, 09th July 2016. The Workshop was organised with the support of Konkan Vikas Pratisthan. The topics on how to start Business, Government Initiatives, Schemes, Finance etc were discussed in this Workshop.

Awareness Programme at Dombivli

Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai organised an Awareness Programme at Dombivli on 26.03.2016 at S.V.Joshi Vidyalaya, Saraswat Colony, Dombivli East. Women engaged in Self Help Groups (SHGs) attended the programme. Information relating to formation and management of Self Help Groups (SHGs) was disseminated to the participants by Shri Samir Manchekar & Shri Vijay Joshi of Swayamsiddha Foundation.

Local Municipal Councillor Mrs.Khushboo Chaudhari coordinated the event.

SHG Training Programme Virar

One Day Training Programme for Members of Self Help Group (SHGs) was organised at Sydenham Institute of Management Studies & Research (SIMSREE), Churchgate on 12.03.2016. Training was imparted on how to make paper bags. Marketing Linkages for the trainees are being worked out. Follow-up training is planned in near future.

Self Employment Workshop, Virar

Self Employment Workshop Virar

Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai organized a workshop for members of Self Help Groups based at Virar on 06.03.2016. Around 40 members of SHGs were present for the aforesaid workshop. The event was supported by The Masala Bazaar, Virar. Three Management students from Sydenham Institute of Management Science & Research (SIMSREE), Churchgate also participated in the event. They appealed the participants to attend one-day free training programme organized by their team. Around 20 participants enrolled themselves for the event. Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai wishes to place on record sincere thanks to Mrs.Sneha Chaudhari who took lead in organizing this event. Members from Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai namely Shri Vijay Joshi, Shri Samir Manchekar & Ms. Rupali attended the event and guided the members.

Around 30 participants participated in the Programme. Shri Vijay Joshi & Shri Samir Manchekar guided the participants on various aspects of Self Help Group (SHG) Movement.
