Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai organised an Awareness Programme at Dombivli on 26.03.2016 at S.V.Joshi Vidyalaya, Saraswat Colony, Dombivli East. Women engaged in Self Help Groups (SHGs) attended the programme. Information relating to formation and management of Self Help Groups (SHGs) was disseminated to the participants by Shri Samir Manchekar & Shri Vijay Joshi of Swayamsiddha Foundation.
Local Municipal Councillor Mrs.Khushboo Chaudhari coordinated the event.
One Day Training Programme for Members of Self Help Group (SHGs) was organised at Sydenham Institute of Management Studies & Research (SIMSREE), Churchgate on 12.03.2016. Training was imparted on how to make paper bags. Marketing Linkages for the trainees are being worked out. Follow-up training is planned in near future.

Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai organized a workshop for members of Self Help Groups based at Virar on 06.03.2016. Around 40 members of SHGs were present for the aforesaid workshop. The event was supported by The Masala Bazaar, Virar. Three Management students from Sydenham Institute of Management Science & Research (SIMSREE), Churchgate also participated in the event. They appealed the participants to attend one-day free training programme organized by their team. Around 20 participants enrolled themselves for the event. Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai wishes to place on record sincere thanks to Mrs.Sneha Chaudhari who took lead in organizing this event. Members from Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai namely Shri Vijay Joshi, Shri Samir Manchekar & Ms. Rupali attended the event and guided the members.
Information about various stages of formation of Self Help Group (Bachat Gat) was provided to the participants. The participants are in process of forming Self Help Group in near future.
An Awareness Programme on Self Help Group was organised at Akanksha Pratisthan, Chinchpokli on 26.07.2015. The programme was organised in association with Akanksha Pratisthan. Around 30 participants participated in the Programme. Shri Vijay Joshi & Shri Samir Manchekar guided the participants on various aspects of Self Help Group (SHG) Movement.
Swayamsiddha Foundation was represented by Shri Vijay Joshi, Shri Samir Manchekar, Ms.Vinaya Sawant & Ms.Rupali Kedar. Shri Rajesh Shirsath, President & Shri Rajendra Keluskar and his team represented Akanksha Pratisthan.
Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai participated in a workshop on Self Employment organized by Loksevak Mahasangh, Mumbai. The Awareness Programme was attended by 40 participants.
The event was coordinated by Shri Ram Gawade of Loksevak Mahasangh. Shri Bhushan Paithankar, President, Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai, Shri Samir Manchekar, Regional Coordinator & Shri Vijay Joshi of Swayamsiddha Foundation participated and guided the prospective entrepreneurs about nuances of self-employment.
A Workshop for new and existing Self Help Groups (Bachat Gats) was organised at Adarsha Vidyalaya, Dombivli on 18.01.2015. 40 participants participated in the event.
The information like how to set up new Bachat Gat, rules and regulations, how to sustain and grow your group and how to convert your group into a new and successful business enterprise was disseminated amongst the participants.
The participant groups are enrolling Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai under its SHG Enrollment Programme.
Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai on an invite from Maratha Mandir’s Babasaheb Gawade Institute of Management Studies organised Awareness Programme on SHG for their MMS Students. Around 60 Students attended the Campaign.
Shri Bhushan Paithankar, President & Shri Vijay Joshi, Hon.Secretary, Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai attended the Programme and presented the participants’ insight into SHG Movement. The students participated enthusiastically and the programme was well received by them.
