Mrs.Ashwini Raut’s story should inspire many. A mother of two from Pune. She is a classic example to demonstrate how one can convert your passion into a business. Cooking and Baking was the forte of Ashwini Raut from her childhood days. She learnt many recipes and mastered the art of baking.
Today, Ashwini is a successful Homebaker. So far she has conducted more than 400 cooking and baking classes successfully. The more inspiring part of the story is that till date she has helped more than 200 women to become independent by starting their own business activity.

BizMeet – Mira Road
Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai organises a Monthly Business Networking Meets of its members titled “BizMeet” with an objective of creating linkages among members. On 28th December, 2019, a BizMeet was organized at Mira Road, where members from the region participated in the meet. The meeting was coordinated by Mr.Dattaram Walvankar and Ms.Shibani Roychoudhary of Swayamsiddha.

Vha Swayamsiddha
An Entrepreneurial Motivation Campaign for prospective and existing women entrepreneurs was organized on 21st Dec.,2019 at Thane. The event witnessed participation of more than 100 women entrepreneurs from all over Thane, Mumbai and Pune.
Entrepreneurial inputs and motivation was provided alongwith detailed information about various schemes and recent initiatives of government for development of entrepreneurs.
Teams from PayNearby a digital fintech startup company and HDFC also attended the event and guided women on various aspects of entrepreneurship.
DR.SONALI ASHISH KALGUDE
Dr.Sonali Ashish Kalgude is a practicing doctor. She runs Skin Care Clinic by the name Kalon Skin Care at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. She specializes in advanced Skin & Hair Care. Dr.Sonali has also set up branches of her clinic in Nashik, Thane etc.
What separates Dr.Sonali from others is that she is engaged in social work as well. She has conducted more than 50 free medical camps for women, she also provides free counselling for women on physical, emotional and mental issues. Dr.Sonali also assists women in providing employment opportunities and has places more than 50 women in gainful employment activities. She is keenly involved in development of Self Help Groups (SHGs) as a tool for women empowerment.
Dr. Sonali is winner of Doctor Kokan Gaurav Award..2019, Adarsh Social Work Special Award 2019 and Creative Women Award 2018.

BizMeet – Dadar
BizMeet – A Monthly Business Networking Meet of Women Entrepreneurs was organized at Dadar, Mumbai on 02nd Nov.,2019. Women Entrepreneurs from different part of Mumbai including one from Yavatmal District participated in the meet.
Apart from Business Presentation, the members networked amongst themselves. They were also provided guidance on various aspects of entrepreneurship.
BizMeet Pune
BizMeet – Business Meet of Women Entrepreneurs was organized at Pune on 12th October, 2019. 35 Women Entrepreneurs from different parts of Pune participated in the meet.
The Women Entrepreneurs displayed their products and services and made product presentation in the meet. A networking meet followed. Interactive Session dealing with various issues of business was also organized during the meet.
IT Awareness Workshop, Dombivli
Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai organized an IT & Social Media Awareness Programme for Women Entrepreneurs today on 05th Oct.,2019 at Dadar, Mumbai.
The programme was hugely successful and the participants appreciated the efforts taken by Swayamsiddha Foundation in dissemination of IT & Social Media related information in simple Marathi. Tips & Tricks on how to use modern technologies effectively while protecting one’s privacy were given to the women entrepreneurs.
BizMeet at Dombivli
BizMeet – Swayamsiddha Foundation’s popular Business Networking Meet was organized at Dombivli, District Thane on 21st September, 2019. Around 40 Women Entrepreneurs from Dombivli, Thane, Kalyan region participated and made their product presentation.
Mrs.Namrata Gawade, Stock Broker gave a special talk about how to Invest in Stock Market.
A Business Question and Answer Session and guidance on various aspects of business was provided during the meet.
Motivation Campaign at Pune
An Entrepreneurship Motivation Campaign was organized by Swayamsiddha Foundation, Mumbai on 15th June, 2019. The event was attended by 50 women which included notable participation from Yavatmal District.
Information on various facets of entrepreneurship, Government Initiatives, Government Schemes, Loan Schemes of Banks alongwith Entrepreneurial Motivation was provided to the participants.
A demonstration on preparation of “Mukhwaas” (Mouth Freshner) was given by the team of Kasturba Mahila Khadi Gramodyog Vidyalaya, Pune.
EDP at Dadar
One Day Entrepreneurship Development Programme was organized by Swayamsiddha Foundation at Dadar Mumbai on 01st June, 2019. Inputs on various aspects of Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Costing, Project Report Preparation, Rules & Regulations etc were provided.
Mr.Vijay Joshi presented various initiatives of the government, government schemes, rules & regulations etc. Mr.Milind Kane and Ms.Chaitali Kulkarni gave presentations on marketing and accounts/taxation respectively.
